Editorial

The awareness to manage and channelize the usage of water has been witnessed in several ventures initiated this week, one of them being the mixing system of water introduced by PAX Water Technologies. This approach works on the principle that all natural forms of fluid have a common mathematical basis, which results in the efficient use of water. This project is expected to curb water quality deterioration and thermal stratification.

Siemens Water Technologies has announced the opening of its global water R&D Center in Singapore, which will deal with universities and environmental authorities on water and wastewater treatment projects. With this, Siemens is gearing towards making Singapore a hub for innovative waste water treatment projects in the Asia-Pacific region.

Several Billions has been invested by GE in waste water treatment and filtration processes ever since it set its foot in the water industry. It has expanded and merged with other water companies to filter, desalinate and purify water, and manufacture water treatment machines.
