Editorial

Water needs to be treated for unwanted residues and chemicals, irrespective of whether it is for domestic usage or industrial usage, without having negative effects on the natural environment.

A study conducted by The Freedonia Group, Inc. has concluded that there will be an increase of 6.4 percent annually for water treatment products and will reach $40 billion by 2011.

To reduce the risk of short-term and lasting effects of chlorine on the body, Best Water has introduced Vitashower, an easy-to-install filter that can be attached directly to the showerhead to reduce or completely eliminate chlorine in the shower.

ThermoEnergy Corporation announced the release of an engineering study by HydroQual Inc., for the Ammonia Recovery Process technology that can be used for municipal and industrial wastewater treatment plants.
