Zheng Yi Wu is an advisory software architect, specializing in areas of engineering computing applications and software development for water and wastewater systems, with more than 15 years of experience in research, development, and engineering consulting around the world.

With the support of Haestad Methods, he has developed the multi-objective genetic algorithm optimization modeling tools, in addition to many other innovative geospatial and hydraulic analysis models. At Bentley Systems, he is responsible for product research and development, and also provides expert guidance to world wide technical support of computer modeling technology for water and wastewater systems.
