Air Conditioning Industry
We manufacture voltage monitors, reverse phase monitors, timers, and load sensors that are commonly used on both indoor and outdoor air handling units, rooftop systems, screw compressors, scroll compressors, self-contained A/C systems, heat pumps, and chillers.
Mining Industry
SymCom manufactures overload relays, current monitors, load sensors, timers, voltage monitors, panel meters, and single phase PumpSaver monitors that measure power factor, voltage, and current which are all commonly used in the mining industry. Pump protection on dewatering applications, ground fault monitoring on motors, and protection for crushers, conveyors, pulverizers, and pelletizers are commonly protected with SymCom devices.
Refrigeration Industry
SymCom manufactures both standard and specialty voltage monitors, load sensors, timers, controller boards, and current transformers for supermarket refrigeration racks and walk-in systems that are used worldwide. With a clear understanding of fixed speed compressor controls, variable speed controls, and PLCs, our devices work with existing systems to perform critical operational functions.
Fire pump Control
SymCom manufactures specialty products used in fire pump control panels. Locked rotor units, reverse phase monitors, phase monitors, and current transformers are all built and tested by both Underwriters Laboratory (UL) and Factory Mutual (FM).
Industrial Pumping Industry
SymCom manufactures a wide variety of controls for both single phase and three phase industrial pumping applications. Overload relays, current monitors, load sensors, timers, voltage monitors, panel meters, single phase PumpSaver monitors that measure power factor, voltage, and current, as well as customized controls, are all commonly used in the water and petroleum pumping markets.
Submersible Pumping Industry
SymCom manufactures protection devices under two trade names PumpSaver and MotorSaver. PumpSavers are single phase monitors that measure power factor, voltage, and current. These measurements are collected and plugged into a microprocessor programmed with a specially calculated formula based on 20+ years of submersible pumping experience. A relay is also built into each PumpSaver monitor so that once the problem has been diagnosed, decisions can be made and the relay can trip. The trip is used to shut off power to the pump motor and prevent damage. MotorSavers are monitors that measure voltage and/or current and are used on either single phase systems or three phase systems.
