The DRAIMAD is a patented machine for bagging and dewatering sludge. After a few hours of operation, it can achieve a dry solids content of 10-12%. The resulting reduction in mass and weight represents significant savings in solids disposal costs. The dewatered solids can be applied for beneficial reuse, according to 503 Regulations, or hauled to a landfill. The DRAIMAD provides ideal dewatering for users that produce from 5 to 250 lbs. dry solids/day in a compact unit. 3, 6 or 12 bag units are available. The bags are water repellent and made of non-woven, porous, polypropylene materials with a volume of 22.5 gallons (85 liters), and are able to withstand up to 3 psi pressure without tearing or breakage. |
