Pond Keeper brand beneficial bacteria is available in several formulation to accommodate most any scenarios.Liquid bacteria are available in 1, 5 and 55 gallon sizes.Powder bacteria are available in 1 oz dissolvable packets and 1 oz dissolvable blocks, which are ideal for small ponds like koi ponds and water gardens.Powder bacteria are also available as a blend with pulverized barley straw.This formulation is available in 16 and 32 ounce jars and in 8 oz water soluble packets packaged in 10 and 25 lbs pails. 8 oz packets make the treatment of large ponds and lakes a breeze.
Algae Control can be achieved safely and organically through the use of GreenClean brand algaecide.GreenClean is an EPA approved algaecide that is safe for fish and other aquatic life that works on contact to kill and control algae blooms while releasing beneficial oxygen back into the water. GreenClean is available in two formulations, GreenClean and GreenClean Pro.
GreenClean is designed for algae control in small pond applications to include, koi ponds, garden ponds, water gardens, small waterfalls and other stone features. GreenClean is available in 2, 8, 20 and 50 lb sizes.
GreenClean Pro is formulated for algae control in large ponds and lakes typically found on golf courses, commercial properties and farms.GreenClean Pro contains a higher concentration of active ingredient to allow for smaller doses to cover more water than the regular GreenClean.GreenClean Pro is available in 50 lb bags.
GreenClean and GreenClean Pro are best used in conjunction with Pond Keeper beneficial pond bacteria to achieve optimum algae control results. Beneficial bacteria should be applied between 48 and 72 hours after a GreenClean application.
Pond Keeper Pond Dye and Pond Keeper Lake Dye are blue pond colorants designed to tint pond and lake water and aesthetically pleasing shade of blue. These pond and lake dyes are non-staining (once applied to water), non-toxic and are safe for use around aquatic plants.Pond dye is also beneficial in filtering out sunlight.
Pond Keeper Pond Dye will treat small ponds at a rate of 1 oz per 1000 gallons, while Pond Keeper Lake Dye will treat larger ponds at a rate of 32 oz per surface acre between 4-8 ft deep.Pond dye can be mixed quickly and evenly if used in conjunction with a fountain, aerator or waterfall or other mechanical device.
We offer pond water clarifiers under the Pond Keeper brand name.Our pond clarifiers (flocculants) are designed to provide exceptional water clarity caused by inorganic suspended particles like mud, clay and even suspended fish waste, while our phosphate binder improves water clarity in ponds that are contaminated with excess phosphates from fertilizer run-off or exceeding amounts of fish waste. Our Flocculants are available as liquids and come in 16 oz and 64 oz sizes, while our Phosphate Binder is a dissolvable powder available in 32 oz jars for small ponds and 55 lb bags for large ponds and lake. Our phosphate binder provides an excellent all-natural alternative to aluminum phosphate.
