Windows Based Acquisition and Visualization Software


Ground Vision™

Ground Vision is a Windows™ based acquisition software designed by Malå GeoScience and dedicated to the RAMAC/GPR™ system. The software includes acquisition, filtering, multi-channel operation and printing of RAMAC/GPR data.

Ground Vision™ is the data acquisition software dedicated to the RAMAC/GPR single- or multi-channel systems. As a Windows based software, Ground Vision gives you an easy-to-use user interface, file management, printing and other key features. Each measurement and associated settings are stored in files. Filtering can be performed with the measurement or as post-processing. Ground Vision software supports GPS logging during measurement. All radargrams can be printed as such, or post-processed by further software.

GPR.EXE™

GPR.EXE is the basic acqusition software to the RAMAC/GPR designed by Malå GeoScience. It comes with the most basic functions for data acquisition including simultaneous GPS measurement, borehole radar surveys and borehole tomography measurements.

XV10/XV11 Basic Firmware

The Basic Firmware is designed to operate with the X3M and shielded antennas and comes with predefined settings for most of the acquisition parameters.

XV10/XV11 Professional Firmware

The Professional Firmware operates on all Control Units (X3M, X3M Corder & CUII) and acquires data from shielded, unshielded as well as borehole antennas. This Firmware has full flexibility of parameter settings and also comes with support routines for Object Mapper and Grid Surveys.

CX10 & CX11 Firmware

The Firmware operates on the concrete imaging system CX10 & CX11 and acquires data from shielded 1,2- and 1,6GHz antennas. This Firmware has full flexibility of parameter settings and also comes with support routines for Easy3D and Grid Surveys.

Easy 3D™

Easy 3D is a Windows based visualization software of RAMAC/GPR™ radar data, designed by Malå GeoScience. The software supports both single and multi-channel data.

Easy 3D operates with a set of homogeneous profiles acquired with the RAMAC/GPR and associated Ground Vision™ software. Easy 3D includes visualization of data, filtering of data, automatic "movie" function of sections or time slices, zoom functions and a report editor to insert objects in the 3D cube as an interpretation aid. Straight lines, curves, hyperbolas, circles as well as 3D objects can be inserted into the 3D radargram to report defined utilities, buried objects or else.

Object Mapper™

Object Mapper is a Windows™ based acquisition software designed by Malå GeoScience and dedicated to the RAMAC/GPR™ system. The software includes Mala's robust filtering capabilities including time gain, band pass, background removal, and more.

Picking GPR targets and generating a detailed map is as simple as clicking a mouse with Object Mapper. The system displays up to ten GPR profiles at once and eliminates the task of single profile interpretation which is time consuming and inefficient. Object Mapper can process several data sets from different directions with different base lines for maximum interpretation ability.

Object interpretation generated from Object Mapper is easily exported to your favorite CAD, GIS, or other mapping and planning software either as a text file or in .dxf file format.

RadInter™

RadInter is an interpretation software developed for RAMAC/GPR/BH single hole reflection data. RadInter allows comparison of measured borehole radar data with theoretically calculated reflection patterns from point-like and plane-like reflectors. The Interpreted reflecting targets can be saved on text files for later use.

WinTomo™

WinTomo is a tomographic processing software developed for RAMAC/GPR/BH data. The program runs under WIN95/98.

The software imports RAMAC GPR/BH data measured in crosshole configuration. Radar data and information on borehole positions for the respective antennas are created through the data collection software GPR.EXE that is delivered together with the GPR-system. This enables a quick start of the processing sequence making the presentation of result after the field work a rapid process. This new version of the software is developed especially for the new growing engineering market that utilizes shallow radar tomography as a tool for rapid site investigations.

RadExplorer™

The RadExplorer GPR interactive software is a powerful, easy-to-learn tool that provides impressive data processing capabilities in a user-friendly package.

Radargrams can be displayed in several modes. Images are easily scaled (Zoom/Unzoom). Most of the processing routines define their default parameters based on the properties of the recorded GPR data. Data interpretation tools included payer picking (manual or semi-automatic), text markers and earth model editor.

All the results of data processing and interpretation can be printed out and exported to a graphics file.

Processing routines: DC removal, Time adjustment, Trace Edit, Spatial Interpolation, Background Removal, 2D Spatial Filtering, Amplitude Correction, Predictive Deconvolution, Bandpass Filtering, Stolt F-K Migration, Reflection Strength, and Topography.

REFLEXW™

REFLEXW is the Windows version of REFLEX - the DOS program for processing and interpretation of reflection and transmission data (special applications: ground penetrating radar (GPR), reflection seismic and ultrasound), designed by Sandmeier Software.

The 2D data analysis module features easy import of data of many different format, including the RAMAC format, conversion of single sections and of a profile sequence, many different displays and processing possibilities, one- and multi-channel filters, editing static correction, and much more.

The CMP velocity analysis module allows calculation of a one-dimensional velocity-depth-distribution from CMP- or move out-data based on different analysis techniques.

The 3D data analysis module displays x-, y- or z- slices, which are either displayed in manually scalable windows or by moving through the 3D-cube using a track bar.

The modeling module allows the interactive production of a 2-dimensional layer model and based on this layer model, the simulation of the electromagnetic and seismic wave propagation. In addition, a tomographic approach is included, which allows the automatic adaptation of transmitted travel time data.
