A novel fluid jet gas/liquid contacting and mixing system was studied and optimized for mass transfer and mixing. Velocity and mass transfer measurements were made under various operational and geometric modes. In this paper only mixing aspects are stressed. A system is devised to calculate the turn limo in a basin. The systems described have an excellent potential for mixing and gas/liquid contacting in a variety of applications.
