Arsenic Reduction Systems that Simplify Water Treatment Infrastructure

Water purity and quality are dependent on functional, efficient treatment applications for the removal of arsenic and other harsh contaminants. Truly effective treatment solutions to meet the demands of individual processing environments - such as a range of pH factors or the presence of competing ions - are paramount.

ISOLUX TECHNOLOGIES is committed to providing the treatment industry with practical, scalable, highly effective solutions that minimize infrastructure, investment and overhead requirements, while meeting or exceeding industry regulations.

Partners

We understand that all processing environments present unique challenges. That's why we're committed to working closely with environmental service providers, utilities and state and federal agencies - in the field, in the lab, in design and manufacturing - to help provide innovative solutions.

By developing media technology that eliminates hazardous waste and backwash wastewater, we're saving water treatment operators one of the most significant operational costs associated with arsenic removal.

For treatment systems with exceptionally high pH, we're providing pretreatment alternatives to traditional chemical additives. We've also engineered self-contained treatment systems that eliminate media handling exposure to concentrated levels of arsenic.

Arsenic Reduction

ISOLUX™ TECHNOLOGIES, has developed multi-functional wellhead applications for arsenic reduction. These products uniquely combine highly efficient ISOLUX™ arsenic adsorption media in a self contained arsenic removal system for fast, cost effective, scalable implementation without negatively impacting operations or infrastructure.

The patented ISOLUX solution effectively reduces arsenic - both arsenic III and arsenic V species - safely, without traditional chemical addition for pH pretreatment. ISOLUX requires no backwashing, no media handling and generates no hazardous waste, unlike alternate treatment technologies.

Practical Applications for Point-of-Entry

ISOLUX™ TECHNOLOGIES, has developed multi-functional cartridge systems for arsenic reduction. These products uniquely combine highly efficient ISOLUX™ arsenic adsorption media in practical cartridge designs for convenient application at the point-of-entry (POE)-treating water to the entire home.

The patented ISOLUX solution effectively reduces arsenic-both arsenic III and arsenic V species-safely. And ISOLUX works without creating unwanted waste containing concentrated levels of arsenic, typical with alternate treatment technologies.

Cost Effective, Efficient Options for Small Water Systems

ISOLUX TECHNOLOGIES has developed multi-functional cartridge systems for arsenic reduction. These products uniquely combine highly efficient ISOLUX™ arsenic adsorption media in practical cartridge designs for convenient application at the point-of-use (POU)-treating water at a single tap.

The patented ISOLUX solution effectively reduces arsenic-both arsenic III and arsenic V species-safely.

Proper Water Evaluation is Critical to Design Engineering

Arsenic is a naturally occurring heavy-metal contaminant. Levels of water-soluble arsenic, (As-III) and (As-V) can vary widely due to a broad range of factors impacting both surface water and ground water. Arsenic appears in source water by dissolving out of sedimentary and volcanic rock, leaching from waste chemical disposal, and rain runoff collecting in aquifers.

Depending on arsenic levels in your area's source water, regular site sampling and monitoring may be required by the Federal or State Regulators. Effective arsenic removal is dependent upon several factors, including system parameters and water chemistry.

At a minimum, water quality testing should include:  pH, hardness, sulfate, phosphate, silica, nitrate, iron, manganese, vanadium, turbidity and total dissolved solids (TDS).

Critical Path Services and Support for Pilot Testing

ISOLUX™ TECHNOLOGIES provides on-site evaluations, laboratory analyses, engineering design, installation, regular site sampling and management of exhausted media.

ISOLUX TECHNOLOGIES is currently running pilot testing in co-operation with state regulators at public and private utilities, institutional and industrial facilities and across the United States.

Experienced Laboratory Testing and Methodology

ISOLUX™ TECHNOLOGIES has complete lab testing facilities located in the U.S. Our laboratory specialists provide complete water chemistry analysis with analytical testing for the presence of arsenic under methodologies in accordance with all federal and state regulations.
