Indusco Environmental Vertical Packed Bed Odor Control Scrubber
Vertical packed tower odor control scrubbers in either single or two stage configurations. All of our scrubbers are designed to operate with countercurrent airflow.
Indusco Environmental Mod3 Packed Bed Odor Control Scrubber Unit
The Mod3 is a low profile, three stage, modular scrubber unit used for applications where ceiling height is an issue or ease of installation is critical. This is an integral unit, which contains three vertical packed bed towers over two or three separate sumps and is ideal for airflow of up to 24,500 cfm. In the Mod3, unlike other low profile units, each of the scrubber towers operates counter-currently, which increases removal efficiency.
Indusco Environmental Biofilter Scrubbers
Biofilters are used with composting operations as well as a means of odor control. Our scrubber systems have been used for removal of contaminants, such as Hydrogen Sulfide and Ammonia, as well as to increase the moisture content of the airflow as a humidification tower.
Indusco Environmental FRP Ductwork
We custom fabricate FRP ductwork and fittings for our odor control systems. All of our odor control ductwork is constructed from FRP using a premium vinyl ester resin. We occasionally construct the duct out of a fire retardant vinyl ester resin. We are able to use fire retardant resin without sacrificing corrosion resistance.
Indusco Environmental FRP Chemical Storage Tanks
We fabricate and supply chemical storage tanks for odor control systems. The tanks are typically used to store Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Hypochlorite and sometimes concentrated Sulfuric Acid.
Odor Control Scrubber Recirculation Pumps
We supply only the highest quality FRP centrifugal recirculation pumps for our odor control scrubber systems. The pumps are designed to provide 6-7 gpm per ft2 of scrubber area. The pumps are designed to run continuously and are equipped with a fresh water double mechanical seal, and are powered by a Mill & Chem duty premium efficiency motor. The pump and motor are typically mounted on a fiberglass base plate or a sandblasted and coated carbon steel base.
Odor Control Scrubber Exhaust Fans
We supply only the highest quality AMCA rated FRP Centrifugal fans. The fans are constructed from FRP using a premium grade vinyl ester resin with interior corrosion liner. The exterior of the fan is coated with a gel coat including a UV inhibitor..
Chemical Metering Pumps
We supply only the highest quality chemical metering pumps for our odor control systems. The pumps are designed to accurately dispense the appropriate amount of chemical to the scrubbing liquid, in order to provide the optimum solution for contaminant removal.
Odor Control Instrumentation
We supply all of the ancillary instrumentation that are required for proper operation and monitoring of the odor control scrubber system. The supplied instrumentation is generally controlled by means of a PLC located within a UL listed control panel. The control logic of the scrubber system is housed within the control panel. The optimal scrubbing system will have all of the control instrumentation provided by the system supplier.
Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic Dampers
The Indusco Environmental Services (FRP) Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic volume control and isolation total seal dampers are used in applications where a high quality damper is needed to shut off or control airflow. Our dampers are manufactured to meet the highest industry standards Standard features and optional include;

We offer four models of control dampers
Model 101:- is used for airflow balancing. This is the least expensive model and has a shaft seal but not a blade seal. This model is typically used at foul air pick up locations to regulate the air volume and has either a lever or handwheel actuator.
Model 102 :- has a shaft seal, like the Model 101, but also has a Neoprene rubber blade seal and can be used as either a balancing or a shut off damper.
Model 103:- has a shaft seal, blade seal and a full circumferential blade stop. In addition to all of the features of the previous models the 103 is equipped with an FRP shoulder type blade stop, which is imbedded into the interior damper wall. .
Model 104:- is a complete seal isolation damper and is used when complete isolation is needed in the duct system. This damper has a shaft seal and features an embedded EPDM O ring along the entire circumference of an elliptically shaped blade. When closed completely the blade is sealed against the body of the damper.
Indusco Environmental Manufacturers Services
We provide installation and start-up services with our odor control scrubber systems. These services include site visits during the installation process to assist and advise on various aspects. Once the installation is complete we will return to check for the proper operation of all of our supplied equipment. We also offer performance testing of the scrubber to determine removal efficiency.

We have been designing and supplying scrubber systems for over 15 years. A service that we offer, at no monetary cost, is a preliminary review and assistance of designs and specifications. Because of our extensive experience in this specific area we have encountered and overcome many issues and deficiencies in scrubber designs and applications.
