The Poweram Model 1825 installs new underground utilities by pushing steel rods under roadways, etc. and pulling the required utility back; and it can replace existing lines by pulling pipe splitting or bursting tools through old pipe and pulling a new pipe into the same space.
One person can operate the model 1825. It has two hydraulic cylinders controlled by one valve, which puts the operator in full control of the machine. The cylinders actuate the patented jaw system that grips the rods. Because the centerlines of the cylinders producing the force and the rods being pushed are on the same plane, the machine introduces no bending forces.
The Model 2010 Portable Hydraulic Power Unit is designed to provide the right oil pressure and flow for the Model 1825. If you wish, you may use your backhoe, trencher, or other hydraulic power source to run the Model 1825. |
