Htec Systems, Inc., formed in the summer of 2004, is an offshoot of Hayden Environmental Group, Inc. (HEG) and QEI Engineers, Inc. (QEI). HEG has transferred the environmental control systems business, consisting of water and wastewater treatment, storm water, air pollution control and hazardous chemical to the new company, whereas QEI transferred energy, facilities and manufacturing business. Key personnel from both companies were transferred to Htec Systems and office space was provided. Htec Systems, Inc. was formed to pursue the design and construction of industrial processes associated with industrial operations, excluding civil works and large buildings. Targeted projects include environmental, water, wastewater, energy, air pollution, ventilation, control systems and manufacturing. Htec Systems, Inc. started business with a backlog of approximately $2,000,000 of backlog and was organized around a lean management approach taking advantage of 21st technologies for engineering design, communications and project management.

Plant Designing
Business Segments Beverage Htec Systems has over 30 years of beverage plant experience conducting studies, audits, evaluating water and wastewater systems, preparing EHS plans and programs and servicing as Project Managers for design – build projects involving water treatment, water renovation and recycling and wastewater treatment plants. HMI controls for syrup making, water treatment and wastewater treatment were installed and commissioned. `Htec Systems brings a system approach to the beverage making process integrating facilities with production, including energy, electrical power, water and wastewater, refrigeration, compressed air and ventilation using hmi systems (rockwell, wonderware or intellution). the fda good manufacturing practice procedures for food are followed. Chemical Htec Systems has a broad experience in the chemical processing industry with the design of hazardous chemical processing systems, including pumping, piping, tanks, containment and instrumentation. We ensure the materials of construction are compatible with the chemicals, including strong acids, caustics, halogenated chemicals, flammable solvents, chlorinated solvents and toxic gases. We implement the OSHA Process Safety Management Standard (29 CFR 1910.119) for regulated and flammable organics by incorporating into the designs provisions for LO/TO, double block and bleed, electrical safety, fire safety, containment, instrumentation and redundant controls. We will prepare environmental permits, including air permits (VOC, Title V), storm water and wastewater (municipal & NPDES), and will prepare submissions for Sara Title III and hazardous waste. Pharmaceutical Htec Systems is experienced in incorporating FDA Good Manufacturing Practice Quality Control into the design of pharmaceutical manufacturing plants, including clean room ventilation systems, piping systems, utilities and materials handling. Where applicable, Htec will prepare OSHA Process Safety Management Risk Assessments (29 CFR 1910.119) and the required O&M Plans and Procedures.
