Aquapoint, Inc. has become the exclusive licensee of Hydroxyl’s ActiveCellTM (fluidized fixed film) for design, supply and installation in North America for the municipal retrofit market below 0.5 MGD and the entire decentralized wastewater treatment market. Both processes employ unique Hydroxyl ActiveCell™ media which are fluidized biomass carriers to increase capacity, enhance the treatment process via BOD and COD reduction, and improve removal of ammonia and nitrogen.

This addition to the Aquapoint, Inc. portfolio of wastewater treatment solutions will add significantly to our range, comments Ray Cullum, Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing. Hydroxyl gives us the ability to reach treatment levels required in the most sensitive areas as well as allowing us an almost unlimited flow range.  We expect to realize exponential growth with this technology.
