The suite of Kepware OPC drivers adds over 50 device protocols to ClearSCADA.
Control Microsystems, global developer of advanced SCADA products, today announced a partnership with Kepware Technologies to integrate Kepware OPC drivers that extend the range of devices supported by the company's SCADA host platform, ClearSCADA 2009 Edition.
The addition of Kepware drivers extends the application base for ClearSCADA which has experienced rapid growth as a focused remote assets management system since its introduction in 2005. The PLC and manufacturing industries have been strong proponents for using OPC Servers for connectivity to HMI/SCADA so this integration and bundling of the Kepware Server with ClearSCADA now provides connectivity to almost any controller or field device found in the market today.
"Kepware's solution for PLC connectivity allows us to further serve our markets while maintaining the high level of quality we are known for", says Eric Schwantler, ClearSCADA Product Manager. "The integration of KEPServerEX is one of the new high value added features of ClearSCADA 2009 Edition".
Use of the product is simple and straight forward. When purchased as an option within a ClearSCADA server, KEPServerEX will auto install upon initial configuration.
ClearSCADA 2009 with integrated KEPServerEX is available for order now.
