Control Microsystems, global developer of advanced SCADA products, today announced the release of the KR30, 900MHz spread spectrum data radio.
Cost-effective and compact, the license-free KR30 boasts a 1 Watt transmitter, up to 256kbps over-the-air data rates, a highly sensitive long-range receiver and two independently powered antenna connections.
Unique SCADAWave technologies position the KR30 above the competition, including LinkXtend™ network bridging and KwikStream™ high-speed repeater capabilities, MultiStream™ simultaneous data stream support and ChannelShare™ collision-avoidance for spontaneous remote transmissions.

The KR30 supports industry-standard DNP3, Modbus and IEC 870-5-101 protocols and is certified for hazardous locations.
