Control Microsystems, global developer of advanced SCADA products, today announced the release of the KR30, 900MHz spread spectrum data radio.

Cost-effective and compact, the license-free KR30 boasts a 1 Watt transmitter, up to 256kbps over-the-air data rates, a highly sensitive long-range receiver and two independently powered antenna connections.

Unique SCADAWave technologies position the KR30 above the competition, including LinkXtend^™ network bridging and KwikStream^™ high-speed repeater capabilities, MultiStream^™ simultaneous data stream support and ChannelShare^™ collision-avoidance for spontaneous remote transmissions.
