CAT PUMPS offers a full range of positive-displacement, triplex, reciprocating, high-pressure piston and plunger pumps for some of the toughest applications including seawater desalination, chemical injection, oil & gas process, DI water misting, foam firefighting and CO2. The triplex design provides a smooth liquid flow. CAT PUMPS’ straightforward triplex pump design enables on-site servicing using common tools and prepackaged service kits. No packing adjustments are required. High temperature liquids and low lubricity liquids are no problem for our special flushed manifold pumps. CAT PUMPS’ flexible belt-drive, direct-drive or gearbox drive options permit easy adapting to electric, gas, diesel or hydraulic power source to meet application requirements. At our web site you can view our many specialty pumps or select a pump by specifications at PRODUCT SELECTOR.

Plunger Pumps
Reciprocating triplex plunger pumps are better suited to high pressures than piston pumps with their static Hi-Pressure and Lo-Pressure Seals. Our triplex plunger pumps offer a variety of drive options to fit compact direct-drive gas and electric units, belt drive systems or gear drive requirements. CAT PUMPS triplex plunger pumps are available with forged brass, 316SS, 316L and Duplex SS heads to pump many different liquids. Our plunger pumps are easy to service in-the-field and have a reputation for long service intervals and exceptional life. CAT PUMPS concentric, solid ceramic plungers offer a true wear surface for optimum sealing and wear resistance in continuous-duty harsh liquid applications. Plunger Pump Models range in performance from .5 GPM up to 320 GPM, up to 7000 PSI.

Piston Pumps
Triplex reciprocating piston pumps offer strong suction capabilities with their mechanically actuated inlet valves. CAT PUMPS piston pumps feature a Uni-Flow design providing a smooth, continuous forward liquid flow. Our triplex piston pumps feature dynamic piston assemblies housed in stainless steel cylinders. Our patented sleeved piston rod provides easy servicing from the liquid-end of the pump. CAT PUMPS triplex piston pumps are available with forged brass and 316SS manifolds suitable for many industrial cleaning applications. Piston pump Models range in performance from .5 GPM up to 60 GPM, up to 1500 PSI.

Desalination Pumps
CAT PUMPS is a recognized supplier of stainless steel, seawater desalination pumps and systems. Our complete line of 316L and duplex stainless steel triplex plunger pumps are used in seawater desalination systems aboard ships, offshore platforms, island support and remote locations.
Our desalination pumps offer dependability and high energy-efficiency to reduce the costs of providing fresh water. CAT PUMPS triplex seawater desalination pumps are rated up to 320 GPM with our R-Series and are available with matching system accessories or as a custom engineered Power Unit, built to your specifications and ready for connection to your membrane system.
To meet limited space and weight requirements in some seawater reverse osmosis systems aboard pleasure craft, fishing boats, yachts and sail boats, the 2SF and 3CP models have been developed. The Stainless Steel pump models 2SF05SEEL, 2SF10SEELS, 2SF15SEEL, 2SF20EEL, 2SF25SEEL, 2SF29SEEL and 2SF35SEEL DELIVER .5-3.5 GPM. The Stainless Steel pump models 3CP1221, 3CP1231, 3CP1241 are only slightly larger using an adapter to connect to the motor and weigh less than 15 lbs providing another option for small compact desalination units in the 2-3.5 GPM range.

Flushed Pumps
CAT PUMPS offers a number of flushed pumps in either cast or Block-Style manifold design. These flushed pumps feature a specially ported inlet manifold enabling a fresh water or compatible liquid external flush. The special external flush liquid cools the seals when pumping Hi-Temp liquids and lubricates the seals when pumping low lubricity liquids such as D.I. water [used in gas turbine inlet fogging systems]. Because the Lo-Pressure Seals are isolated, these flushed triplex pumps can also handle higher vapor liquids like CO2 requiring boosted inlet pressures. Flushed pumps are identified with a C or a K in the model number.

WATER JET Pumps-MAG-JET
CAT PUMPS manufactures water jet pumps featuring the Mag-Jet Valve. This jetting valve mounts easily onto the manifold inlet valve plug of many plunger pump Models and converts your standard high pressure pump to a water jet pump. The patented unique design of the Mag-Jet, eliminates the dry pumping chamber of traditional waterjet pumps, thereby, preserving the integrity of the pump, prolonging the life of the seals and assuring low maintenance for your water jet pump.
