Using gravity flow and the principal of differentiating densities, BaySeparators efficiently and effectively treat storm water by separating and trapping debris, sediment, and oils before they enter the waterways. To that end, BaySaver Technologies has designed BaySeparator SA and BaySeparator PT to handle up to any size storm you may be faced with, including those that generate flows in excess of 100cfs. Proven structural BMPs that meet, or exceed, all industry standards and local removal regulations, the entire BaySeparator product line can be fabricated into multiple sizing combinations to fit a variety of applications and custom installations whether they’re new or retrofitted.
Designed specifically to function as the pre-treatment device when applied in a storm water treatment train, BaySeparator PT allows for greater pollutant removal and increased efficiency down the line. It’s engineered to typically remove 50% of the suspended solids on an annual aggregate removal basis, or other required methodology, from storm water prior to the next BMP in the “train’s” succession, such as BaySaver Technologies’ BayFilter.
A stand-alone version, BaySeparator SA, meets, or surpasses all industry standards and regulatory 80% removal requirements and efficiently removes various ranges of suspended storm water solids (d50 of 125 microns) on an annual aggregate removal basis, or other methodology.

Based on flow capacity and treated sediment load of the system, as well as any and all local jurisdiction sizing commitments, your BayFilter is manufactured to provide maximum efficiency and performance no matter the application.
Strategically configured in concrete vaults (manholes, pre-cast, or cast-in-place), the easy-to-handle BayFilter cartridges are designed to each treat up to 300 lbs. of sediment. Its interior composition and construction effortlessly removes very fine sediment and nutrient pollutants from storm water at an astounding maximum flow of 30 GPM per cartridge, the highest rate in the industry today.
