The Process
The cost to construct water lines is significant. Over the life of a line, maintenance will be necessary to ensure line capacity and water quality. During Air Scouring, a section of the water line is isolated and the water removed from the line using clean, compressed air. Gradually, air and water are re-introduced into the line. The swirling action of the compressed air and water removes mineral scale, sediment, loose matter and debris from the line. Flow capacity and water quality are improved. No disassembly of the water line or line pigging is necessary. |
