A pump is a device used to move fluids, and it displaces a volume by physical or mechanical action.

JET Edge has launched a waterjet intensifier pump which produces pressures of around 6205 bar, while normal pumps can only generate 4137 bar. The company says this 50 percent increase in pressure corresponds with a rise in productivity.
