Recently, the Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority (SEWA) launched a year long power and water conservation campaign. This awareness message to promote sustainable use of energy and water will be generated to the public through ads in newspapers, SMS, utility bills, and Friday sermons.
A large number of international water related conferences are being scheduled for the first half of 2008 and the International Private Water Association (IPWA) has published a select list of water infrastructure related seminars and conferences.
The National Ground Water Association (NGWA) will host a March 20 Webinar entitled, ``America`s Dependence on Ground Water: Trends and Forecasts in a Changing Marketplace.``
