Programs that are developed to create an informative background and increase awareness on issues such as water management and conservation are more effective if they are an ongoing process.

Recently, the Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority (SEWA) launched a year long power and water conservation campaign. This awareness message to promote sustainable use of energy and water will be generated to the public through ads in newspapers, SMS, utility bills, and Friday sermons.
