The objective of sewage treatment is to produce a waste stream and solid waste, suitable for discharge or reuse.
Concorde Industries has been awarded with a Dh160 million contract by The Abu Dhabi Sewerage Services Company, to design and construct a membrane bioreactor sewage treatment plant, for the largest planned labour accommodation facility in the UAE. The facility will treat waste water from the Construction Workers` Residential City (CWRC).
Developed by Hamilton based Enviro Energy, the STERM was launched on Friday, June 20th 2008. The STERM process incorporates a unique drying process, that converts dewatered sludge into a sterile fuel which is recycled to provide energy for the system, leaving only inert sand/ash as the end product.

Centrifugal Separator Efficiency Myth |
Author : Sonitec, Inc. Company : Sonitec, Inc. |
Centrifugal separators are very effective at removing particles larger then (40) forty microns that have a high specific gravity greater then 2.6. Good design engineering and application practices need to be applied when a filtration system is selected for cooling water loops. The need to separate solids and liquids from each other is directly linked to practically every commercial and industrial water process. |
