Editorial

The water industry is one of the world's five largest markets, amounting to $400 billion, and growing by 7% annually. There are a large number of divisions and subdivisions under this industry, in terms of buyers, consumers, and providers. In order to facilitate all professionals and businesses under this bracket a platform needs to be established.

The XIV Pipes Conference brings together the global plastic pipe community and will be held from 22 - 24 September 2008 at the Marriott Hotel in Budapest. Key issues will be discussed such as market issues, plastic pipeline solutions, application areas and pipe system developments.

Registration is now open for the global water community that will gather in Atlanta on June 8-12 for the American Water Works Association's 2008 Annual Conference and Exposition (ACE08). Topics of discussion will include the future of safe water, cutting-edge research and best practices, and experience latest products and services available to the water community.
