Kashi Banerjee is the Process Development Director of USFilter – Memcor, Microfloc, and General Filter Products. His responsibilities include conducting research and development through bench and pilot scale studies using physical/chemical treatment methods, process/technology selection, feasibility evaluation, conceptual process design, and economic evaluation of systems for drinking water, industrial wastewater treatment, and water reuse.
Since January 2000, Dr. Banerjee has been leading the USFilter Arsenic Task Force team and is extensively involved in developing arsenic, other heavy metals, and perchlorate treatment systems. He has a bachelor degree in chemical engineering, master and doctorate in environmental engineering. He is a registered Professional engineer, and a Diplomat of the American Academy of Environmental Engineers. He is member of AWWA, WEF, IWA, ACS, and ASCE.
