THEODORE (TED) SCOTT, CPESC President Mr. Scott has nearly 20 years experience in site design, stormwater management design, and specialty water resources consulting. Prior to starting TSA, he was a Principal of a 250 person A/E firm and managed a 40-person multi-disciplinary staff. His experience with most aspects of land improvement design coupled with his specialization in stormwater design issues provides unique insight into the current trends in stormwater management. Mr. Scott founded his firm in 2002 to provide specialized stormwater management consulting services and software development. The majority of his consulting work is for other design firms. TSA TOOLS software was created to simplify and increase the efficiency of computations related to the design of stormwater management practices. This increase in efficiency can provide more time to evaluate alternative concepts that integrate stormwater treatment measures into overall site designs. The primary goal of his work is to provide designers (including civil engineers, landscape architects, land planners, surveyors, architects, and environmental scientists) with tools, methodologies, and instruction on the evolving practice of site and stormwater management design. He develops and communicates techniques, design processes, and software tools that reduce the time and distraction associated with performing iterative computations required for stormwater management design. This allows the designer to focus more time on developing improved designs without sacrificing accuracy. |
