Easi-Drive
Easi-drive is an efficient and cost effective portable valve actuator system where valve size, pressure rating or work environmental conditions would normally demand a permanent dedicated actuator or would require a dedicated work crew.
Designed to operate in/with minimum facilities, Easi-drive is available with three power variants
- Pneumatic
- Hydraulic
- Electric
The pneumatic variant is the most commonly specified, its inherent safety making it ideal for Oil, Gas & Petrochemical industries.
In any production or manufacturing facility, Easi-drive can be run on adjacent plant air or from available electrical supply. An Easi-Drive system will consist of three major elements:
- The drive gun
- Drive coupler
- Reaction device (the safety aspect)
Easi-drive is fully portable and can be supplied to manage any single valve or a bank of valves.
All torque ranges can be catered for with variable torque adjustment capability as standard.
Easi-Test
The Easi-test is a unique device that permits the independent testing of pneumatic actuators and process valves on live systems.
Fitted between the valve and actuator, when activated it allows independent testing and operation of the actuator or valve.
Until now, function testing of actuated valves while the process is live has been extremely difficult, usually involving the simultaneous operation of both the actuator and valve.
The operation also required a mechanism to depressurize the actuator power source.
The Easi-test system is always operable whatever the site failure condition.
The manual override system is suitable for quarter turn valves up to a torque of 630Nm.
Stroke Test
The stroke test group of products has been specifically designed to provide partial stroke testing of quarter turn valves with failsafe pneumatic actuators.
The compact and simple designed `Stroke Test` is fitted between the valve and actuator, replacing the usual valve-actuator coupling.
Operating the lever automatically disconnects the valve from the actuator, whatever the failure condition of the site.
It can also be customised to any customer`s exact rotational requirements at our factory.
In test mode, a shaft mounted stop cam is rotated 90 degrees to cause contact between a normally rotating segment drive and the stop shaft. This contact prevents further rotation of the valve.
During normal operating mode, the segment driver is free to rotate.
A wide range of options is available, including remote operation, remote position indication and a 0 degree lockout.
