Chem-Aqua, Inc., a wholly owned water treatment subsidiary of NCH Corporation, is pleased to announce that an article coauthored by member of its Management Team has been published in the Green Supplement to the Summer 2011 issue of The Analyst, a quarterly magazine from AWT (Association of Water Technologies). The article, “Using Automation to Green Your Water Treatment Program” by Allan Browning, Technical Marketing Manager for Chem-Aqua in Dallas, TX, and Sam McManis, Engineering Manager for Chem-Aqua in Dallas, TX, was featured in the publication’s T.U.T.O.R. section, a column that discusses issues of technical importance to the industry.
Mr. Browning’s and Mr. McManis’ article explained how a facility’s water treatment program can reduce utility bills, improve energy and water efficiency, and protect the environment. It also highlighted how automation can be used to help track and benchmark a water treatment program’s performance as required for building certification programs like USGBC®’s LEED® Green Building Rating System™.
