The American Ground Water Trust (AGWT) and the British Columbia Ground Water Association are scheduled to hold a workshop called “Water Wells and Asset Management” here on September 15, according to an announcement on the events page of the AGWT

The program focuses on identifying and solving well yield that can allow groundwater users to save thousands of dollars in operation and replacement costs. It is aimed at water managers, well owners and utility operators.

The workshop is designed to provide an understanding of the economic basis for well design and operation policy, and help well owners, contractors and consultants in British Columbia stay compliant with changing regulations, according to the announcement.
