Transit Time Ultrasonic Flow Meters
Series TFXL – Non invasivee Small-Pipe Flow Meter
Series TFXL is an ultrasonic flow meter that clamps on to the outside of a pipe. It is designed to replace mechanical flow meters in applications where liquid conditions tend to damage or impede mechanical flow meter operation. Installation of the TFXL is cost effective and the meter requires no maintenance. The unit may be ordered with or without a local display. All meters provide two flow rate outputs: 4-20 mA analog and simulated turbine meter frequency, permitting the product to be interfaced with a variety of monitoring equipment. A Windows®-based software utility allows users to configure, calibrate and troubleshoot.
Series TFXP - Portable Transit Time Ultrasonic Flow Meter
Series TFXP Portable Transit Time Flow meters feature the world`s most advanced non invasive flow measurement technology - providing a measuring system with unsurpassed accuracy, versatility, ease of installation and dependability. Although designed primarily for cleaner liquids, the flow meter operates reliably with greater amounts of suspended solids or aeration than previous transit time ultrasonic flow meters were capable of measuring. TFXP is designed for long- or short-term measurement flow surveys on full-pipe liquid systems and is ideal for verifying calibration of permanently mounted flow meters of all types.
Series TFXM - Multiple-Pipe, Multiple-Path Transit Time Ultrasonic Flow Meter
Series TFXM Transit Time Flow Meters feature the world`s most advanced non invasive flow measurement technology available -- providing a measuring system with unsurpassed accuracy, versatility, low-cost of installation and low-cost of ownership. The TFX system installs quickly onto liquid piping systems with its non invasive, non-fouling transducers and can be configured and operational within minutes. Up to eight discrete channels/pipes can be utilized with mathematical formulas to display and output average flow, flow difference, proportions or sums.
Series TFXD - Dedicated Transit Time Ultrasonic Flow Meter
Series TFXD Transit Time Flow meters feature the world`s most advanced non invasivee flow measurement technology available -- providing a measuring system with unsurpassed accuracy, versatility, low-cost of installation and low-cost of ownership. The TFX system installs quickly onto liquid piping systems with its non invasive, non-fouling transducers and can be configured and operational within minutes.
All systems utilize Dynasonics` proprietary dual time-base time expansion software algorithm, digital cross-correlation, optically isolated input-output busses and field replaceable duplex communication I/O modules.
Ultrasonic Doppler Flow Meters
Dynasonics offers a comprehensive line of Doppler flow meters, meeting a variety of specific application requirements. The Series DUFX, D601, D901, and D902 are clamp-on, non invasivee flow meters that require a good acoustical path between the outside of the pipe and the liquid inside. In some instances, such as non-saturated concrete pressure pipe and glass reinforced fiberglass pipe, ultrasonic energy will not readily pass. For these installations, Dynasonics offers the D77X insertion ultrasonic flow meter.
The Doppler meters on this page are intended for applications where suspended solids or aeration (bubbles) are always present and relatively homogeneous in the liquid, typically 100 ppm of 100 micron size. If the liquid is at times cleaner or non-aerated, approximately 25 ppm of 30 micron size, we suggest reviewing our D901/D902 Enhanced Doppler Flow Meters, or for clean liquids see our Transit Time Flow Meters.
Series UFX Doppler Flow Meters provide accurate and reliable flow velocity assessments in closed pipe, liquid systems. UFX requires that the liquid be either solids-bearing or aerated at a minimum of 100 ppm. The product utilizes a single, hand-held transducer which is placed on the outside of metal or plastic pipe. Within seconds after placing the transducer, the large LCD will provide a velocity reading in either FPS (feet per second) or MPS (meters per second). The UFX comes with a flow calculator/slide chart for conversion of velocity measurements to popular volumetric measurements.
Series 601 Ultrasonic Doppler Flow Meters measure flow of solids-bearing or aerated liquids in metal or plastic pipe. Installation of a single transducer combining transmitting and receiving elements is simple and requires minimal preparation of the pipe`s outer surface. The transducer assembly is positioned parallel to the pipe`s axis and held in place with a stainless steel clamp.
Series MFX Insertion Magnetic Flow Meter
Series MFX Insertion MagProbe TM Flow Meters feature the world`s most advanced magnetic flow measurement technology available. Digital signal processing provides a measuring system with unsurpassed accuracy, versatility and cost of ownership. The MFX system installs quickly into liquid piping systems and can be configured and operational within minutes. MagProbe`s exclusive Venturi-notched tip ensures accurate and stable flow readings, even when poor system hydraulics, flow swirl or very low flow rates are encountered.
Other features include: bi-directional flow measurement, continuous intelligent diagnostics, two-line backlit alphanumeric display, tactile keypad, optically isolated input/output busses and field replaceable input/output communication modules.
