Synopsis
Membranes are becoming a commodity in the water treatment field, finding more applications and replacing traditional conventional technologies. Used in combination with different technologies, membranes may address removal of mineral and organic compounds in the water including volatile types such as endocrine disruptors (EDCs) (42 found in the U.S.), pharmaceutically-active compounds (PhACs), and personal care products (PCPs).
