Biography

Dr. Qizhong Guo is a tenured Associate Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, USA and is serving as Director of the Rutgers Hydroinformatics Laboratory. He received B.E. degree from Tianjin University, China in 1982 and received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from St. Anthony Falls Hydraulic Laboratory at University of Minnesota, Minneapolis in 1987 and 1991, respectively. He is also a registered Professional Engineer in Civil Engineering. His primary professional interests are in hydraulics, urban storm water management, and watershed and water quality modeling. He has published over sixty journal papers, conference proceedings, and project reports. He has also directed and co-directed over one hundred post-doctoral, doctoral, Masters, and undergraduate students in their research
