Biography
Miklas Scholz, cand ing, BEng, PgC, MSc, PhD, ILTM, CEng, MIEMA (pending), MCIWEM, MICE is a lecturer in Civil and Environmental Engineering. Previously he held a Lectureship in Environmental Water Engineering in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Bradford. His research is principally concerned with experimental investigations of biomass activity within membranes, biological activated carbon filters, constructed wetlands, natural wetlands and sustainable urban drainage systems. He was recently awarded a Global Research Award grant and an Industrial Secondment Scheme grant by the Royal Academy of Engineering. Dr Scholz has more than 20 relevant journal paper publications.
