BACTO BLOCKS: Grease Traps Bacteria Blocks: Grease eating bacteria used in grease traps and wastewater applications

BACTO-BLOCKS

Used In Grease Traps & Wastewater Treatment

Bacto-Blocks are highly-concentrated, dissolvable grease trap blocks, which contain billions of grease-eating bacteria. These slow-dissolve blocks are designed for use in grease traps, lift stations and other wastewater applications, where a heavy build-up of grease occurs.

Bacto-Blocks are formulated to slowly dissolve over a 2-4 week time frame, dependant on the water flow and the grease load of each system.

Bacto-Blocks are ideal for treating grease traps and wastewater treatment plants that, when equipment and liquid injection system are NOT feasible, or are not desired.

APPLYING BACTO-BLOCKS (GREASE TRAPS):

Apply a 1-pound or 2-pound Bacto-Block (per 250 - 500 gallons of grease traps capacity), every 2-4 weeks, depending on the water flow through the trap, and the amount of grease load coming into the trap. Adjust accordingly. Simply suspend each block from a rope, and tie it off so that the block remains completely submerged in the grease trap water at all times.

APPLYING BACTO-BLOCKS (LIFT STATIONS):

Add a 5-pound Bacto-Block (per 250,000 - 500,000 gallons of daily water flow), every 4 weeks, depending on the water flow through the lift stations. Adjust accordingly. Simply suspend each block from a rope, and tie it off so that the block remains completely submerged in the water at all times.

BACTO-BLOCKS Can Be Used To Treat:

  • Grease Traps
  • Lift Stations
  • Wastewater Treatment
