Reverse Osmosis and Nanofiltration Elements
Reverse Osmosis and Nanofiltration spiral wound membrane elements have been produced since 1967, starting with cellulose acetate membrane elements. Today, the product line includes a full range of state-of-the-art polyamide composite membranes, manufactured under ISO-9001 certification.

SU / TM Series
Toray offers most of their standard 8`` elements with a new flush cut design. The anti-telescoping device (ATD) of the new TM elements provides an improved face-to-face contact for hydraulic loading providing more uniform distribution of the loads.
The new flush cut elements are fully compatible with many other elements in the industry. With the new flush cut elements Toray is focusing on the method of internal sealing, providing the greatest assurance of integral sealing between elements within the pressure vessel.
Brackish Water Membranes
Following 8`` and 4`` membranes can be used in multiple membrane systems to treat municipal industrial or process water as well as commercial application using the 4`` membrane types.
The feed water salinity is commonly used to select the correct membrane type. The suitable membrane for your application is therefore made according to following salinities.
High salinity > 10'000 ppm: TM820L
Medium salinity 2'000-10'000 ppm: TM720R/720/720L/TML20
Low salinity < 2'000: TM720L/TMG/TMH/TML20
Sea Water Membranes
Following 8`` and 4`` membranes can be used in multiple membrane systems to treat sea water or high salinity water > 10’000 ppm. The 4`` membrane types can be used for small private or shipboard sea water desalination.
The feed water salinity is commonly used to select the correct membrane type. The suitable membrane for your application is therefore made according to following salinities.
Low /medium salinity < 40'000 ppm: TM820/820L
High salinity > 40'000 ppm: TM820/820H
SWRO-brine conversion: TM820H/SU-820BCM
Membranes for Water with High Fouling Potential
The following 8`` and 4`` membranes can be used in multiple membrane systems to treat water with high fouling tendency (e.g. organics or bacteria).
