MYCELX Hydrocarbon Removal Matrix Cartridges
MYCELX Hydrocarbon Removal Matrix (HRM™) cartridges are engineered to remove hydrocarbons ranging from oil to gasoline from water in a single pass. MYCELX instantly solublizes the hydrocarbon compounds and bonds them to its surface, keeping them from separating and emulsifying.
MYCELX has also been proven effective in removing Sheen, Cl, Solvents, Natural and Synthetic Oils, PCBs and organically bound metals.
The Emulsion Breaker ``EB`` Cartridge
This high performance cartridge has been developed to remove emulsified oils and low concentrations of partially water soluble hydrocarbons such as BTEX and chlorinated solvents. It is especially good at cleaning up difficult emulsified wastestreams.

MYCELX PermaKleen
MYCELX Technologies developed MYCELX PermaKleen primarily for hydrocarbon removal from flowing water.
MYCELX PermaKleen has been designed for a myriad of filtration uses ranging from stormdrain cisterns and filter bag fill applications to packed column filtration. The engineered product incinerates easily, causes no fines, will not retain water or waterlog, and is very stable in varying pH conditions.
PermaKleen can be used as an aid to implementing the requirements of SUDS (Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems).
ATS System
The novel system known as Advanced Treatment Station (ATS) provides a solution to the problem of diffuse pollution from contaminated water running off roads. Contamination includes metals such as copper and lead as well as oils coming from the increasingly heavy traffic on our roads. Recent legislation from the EU the form of the Water Framework Directive requires such pollution to be tackled to improve the quality of our rivers. For decades we have often discharged contaminated road runoff directly into our rivers resulting in a loss in water quality. A further requirement is to try to capture and slowly release water after heavy rainfall to prevent flooding.
The system consists of a series of chambers that capture and stabilise the solids and filter out other contaminants such as oils and metals. Work is ongoing to develop the system to also tackle the high salts found in road runoff during the winter after road salting.
