Strong and flexible - with over 15 years of experience, tubetex™ has proven its great value in rehabilitating partially deteriorated water and gas pipes in a safe and reliable way. Tubetex™ is the most effective solution for pipes with remaining structural integrity that are affected by ground settlements, leakages, corrosion or excessive deposits.
TUBETEX™ Experience
Originally developed in Japan for earthquake conditions, Norditube introduced the CIPP system into the European market in the early 80s. Since 1986, Norditube manufactures this Lining system for the rehabilitation of partially deteriorated water and gas pipes. The unique coating technology developed by Norditube provides an exceptional adherence to the tubular woven fabric. The TUBETEX™ System
The Tubetex™ system consists of a tubular woven seamless fabric made of high-strength polyester yarns. Depending on the application the Liner is coated with Linear Low Density Polyethylene for transport of drinking water or the Hytrel™ Polyester for gas pipes. A flexible Epoxy resin exsures perfect adherence of the liner to the host pipe and at the same time provides sufficient elasticity for settlements and pipe deflections.

The solution
Relining with Tubetex™ ensures:
- Total arrest of internal corrosion in pipes.
- Final protection against incrustation on the internal surface of the repaired pipe.
- Coating is guaranteed water/gas tight and provides a perfectly smooth surface.
- Internal pressure resistance of up to 14 bars.
- Resistance to loads arising from leaking seals, bell holes, gaps between pipes, and perforations.
High pressure water cleaning
The interaction of the woven high strength polyester yarn together with the resin and the coating provide excellent long-term properties, creating a superior solution compared with any other spraying technology (e.g. cement-mortar spraying, bituminous protection or epoxy spraying).
