Uniliner for Fast Rehabilitation of Partially and Fully Deteriorated Sewers
An easy to install and inexpensive quality Cured In Place, for a fast rehabilitation of partially and fully deteriorated sewers. An inexpensive high quality CIPP liner - norditube`s global customer network and long history in the production and development of CIPP liners ensure that we can offer a high quality sewer lining system for highly competitive prices. Norditube uniliner™ is available pre-impregnated ready to install.
The Uniliner™ system consists of multi layer Polyester, needle felt, coated with Polyurathane.
The Liner can be impregnated with a resin system according to customer`s needs:
- Epoxy (Easy to impregnate and install)
- Polyester ISO (Most cost effective)
- Polyester ISO NPG (Cost effective with better chemical resistance)
- Vinyl Ester (Highest chemical and temperature resistance industrial use)
Production of the Uniliner™: Cutting of the coated polyester needle felt
Uniliner™ is available as a dry product in total length up to 500m or as a pre-impregnated tailor-made Liner. For special applications or in case Polyester or Vinyl Ester are not preferred or allowed, Norditube developed a high performance Epoxy resin with 72 hours pot-life at 23°C.
Due to our increasing sales volume around the world, Norditube is able to deliver the Uniliner™ for a highly competitive price. It is therefore an attractive alternative for lining all types of gravity pipes.
Quality Assurance
In order to assure a long durability of the rehabilitated pipe, Norditube has done several tests (lab and in-situ) to confirm the integrity of the Uniliner™. Continuous independent testing of samples of the Uniliner™ according to ASTM D638 and D790, and DIN EN 1228, DIN EN ISO 178, DIN EN ISO 527-4 and DIN 1610 assure the consistency of the mechanical properties.
In addition, independent long-term crown tests according to DIN EN 761 have been carried out to assure the quality of the Uniliner™ for a period of 50 years. These tests have shown that the long-term properties satisfy all design requirements. Test results can be obtained at one of our sales offices.
The result
New Developments
Installing and curing a Liner with water is safe and reliable, but at certain dimensions also time consuming. Fast execution of the installation however, is the key to a successful project. Therefore, Norditube has investigated alternative installation and curing methods. As a result, we succeeded to combine the most effective method of UV Curing with the existing standard Uniliner™ impregnated with a standard Polyester ISO NPG resin.
