Norditube is the original developer of the Cured In Place Pipe (CIPP) technology for pressure pipes with 20 years of experience and one of the major players on the world market for common CIPP for gravity and pressure pipe application. The Group is driven by the technical expertise and an innovative spirit. Norditube Technologies is part of the world wide operating CPT Group and fulfils the role of the CIPP technology provider. We have production facilities in Belgium, Germany and Hong Kong. Our customer base spreads world wide, although Europe is our core market with Asia emerging and developing rapidly. Since last year we are active in North America and the potable water market in Canada is well established. We enter the world wide biggest as well as the toughest market and expect a slow growth within the next 24 month. We are in the process of accomplishing a solid base and teaming up with the right partner is the first goal to be achieved. CPT Group Norditube is the only CIPP technology provider worldwide with expertise in all excising fields of application as sewer, potable water, Gas and other industrial pipelines. As sewer is our major market, pressure pipe renewal is our strength with exceptional expertise and experience. TUBETEX™ an Interactive Cured In Place Pipe An interactive Cured In Place Pipe, especially designed for rehabilitation of partially deteriorated gas and water pipes The interactive solution Strong and flexible - with over 15 years of experience, tubetex™ has proven its great value in rehabilitating partially deteriorated water and gas pipes in a safe and reliable way. Tubetex™ is the most effective solution for pipes with remaining structural integrity that are affected by ground settlements, leakages, corrosion or excessive deposits. TUBETEX™ Experience Originally developed in Japan for earthquake conditions, Norditube introduced the CIPP system into the European market in the early 80s. Since 1986, Norditube manufactures this Lining system for the rehabilitation of partially deteriorated water and gas pipes. The unique coating technology developed by Norditube provides an exceptional adherence to the tubular woven fabric. Two decades of application confirm the long-term durability of Norditube`s Tubetex™ lining system. Heavily corroded steel pipe The TUBETEX™ System The Tubetex™ system consists of a tubular woven seamless fabric made of high-strength polyester yarns. Depending on the application the Liner is coated with Linear Low Density Polyethylene for transport of drinking water or the Hytrel™ Polyester for gas pipes. A flexible Epoxy resin exsures perfect adherence of the liner to the host pipe and at the same time provides sufficient elasticity for settlements and pipe deflections. Perfectly bonded Tubetex™ inside a gas main The solution Relining with Tubetex™ ensures: Total arrest of internal corrosion in pipes. Final protection against incrustation on the internal surface of the repaired pipe. Coating is guaranteed water/gas tight and provides a perfectly smooth surface. Internal pressure resistance of up to 14 bars. Resistance to loads arising from leaking seals, bell holes, gaps between pipes, and perforations. High pressure water cleaning The interaction of the woven high strength polyester yarn together with the resin and the coating provide excellent long-term properties, creating a superior solution compared with any other spraying technology (e.g. cement-mortar spraying, bituminous protection or epoxy spraying). Pipe Solution
NordiPipe™ Pipe-In-Pipe Solution Glass fiberreinforced multipurpose independent Cured In Place system for rehabilitation of fully deteriorated pressure and gravity pipes A unique pipe-in-pipe solution: a safe and reliable way to rehabilitate damaged water, and gravity pipes, avoiding excavation works and related social disruption. Norditube`s glass fiber reinforced nordipipe™ is the first self-supporting CIPP-liner withstanding internal pressure and external load. Cost-effective, fast and easy to install, nordipipe™ is the best solution for pressure pipe renewal. Why relining with CIPP Because rehabilitating pipes with a Cured In Place removes the need to "dig and replace", the execution time of a project can be reduced dramatically. Moreover, the inconvenience resulting from construction is limited, because construction only requires 2 small pits Execution of the installation within one working day Small installation pits with minor damage to the road and other surfaces Only slight impact on traffic and infrastructure Minimal environmental impact No risk of damaging other subterranean pipe networks The combination of fast execution and minimal disturbance makes CIPP relining a far more cost-effective solution than pipe replacement. Why NORDIPIPE™ Also CIPP linings have been applied for many years now, there was no liner able to rehabilitate fully deteriorated water mains and other pressure pipe systems, e.g. oil, hydrocarbons and sewer. Therefor Norditube set the goal to develop a fully independent CIPP system. Thorough research lead to the perfect solution to form a homogenous glass fiberreinforced plastic pipe with the ideal interaction of the components fiber glass, Polyester needle felt, Epoxy resin and Polyethylene coating, ensuring maximum hydraulic performance. In order to assure long-term durability of NORDIPIPE™, Norditube carries out independent tests according to ASTM D638, D790 and DIN EN 761 & DIN 53759, in order to confirm the integrity of the system for the design life of 50 years. Norditube has been granted the potable water approval for NORDIPIPE™ according to BS 6920, NSF/ANSI 61 and BNQ, while approvals according to KTW W270 and XP P41-250 are in progress. If NORDIPIPE™ is applied in oil or hydrocarbon pipes, it can be manufactured as a conductive system. Gravity Pipes
Nordiwall™ Pipe Solution for Renewal of Gravity Pipes The highest quality, easy to install Cured In Place Pipe for a fast rehabilitation of partially and fully deteriorated sewers The highest quality CIPP liner - since the introduction into the market in the early 90s, Nordiwall™ sustained its reputation of being the top-end quality liner. Due to its combination of a thick coating and a perfect seam construction the liner is very safe and reliable. Nordiwall™ can be impregnated with various resins, and installed with a reversion drum or by water tower. The flexibility together with a high quality makes Nordiwall™ a very safe and easy to install solution for the renewal of gravity pipes. Inversion Methods Nordiwall™ can be inverted with either compressed air or water, although the preferred method is compressed air by using the installation drum. After the Liner is wound inside the drum, there is no faster way than going to the site, opening the manhole and starting immediately the inversion process. No erection of a water tower No extensive supply of water required No additional machinery like winches for pulling method etc. Production: Cutting of the needle felt while the available inversion drum sizes are limited, there are restrictions in thickness and installation length. For larger liner dimensions in length, the water column becomes an attractive installation method. Quality Assurance More than 15 years of track record have proven the long-term reliability of Nordiwall™.Continuous independent testing of Nordiwall™ according to various norms (e.g. DIN EN 1228, DIN EN ISO 178, DIN EN ISO 527-4 and DIN 1610) assures the consistency and high quality of our product. Control panel of a UV curing unit Light chain inside Nordicure™ End fitting with the light chaine implemented Installation Drum, can be pulled on a trailer attached to the UV Unit. The method The Liner gets inverted into the pipe to be lined with the standard pressure drum. After completion of the inversion process the method does not distinguish at all from the standard method applied for the installation of the known glass liner systems. The light chain is introduced in the Liner and the ends closed with the couplings. The Liner can be stored for at least 3 month, another benefit to make the life of our customer more comfortable.
