Bubblebead Filters
In koi ponds where ornamental fish are being kept in any numbers, the need for some form of filtration soon becomes apparent. With their greedy appetites and vigorous browsing nature, koi soon pollute their surrounds with their wastes and with debris churned up from the pool base. Appropriate mechanical and biological filtration will give both the clarity required for viewing and the clean water necessary to maintain fish health. The BubbleBead filter system, with its high ability to remove particles down to 10 micron size and high efficiency breakdown of biological wastes can achieve this desired water quality either on its own or in conjunction with ancillary filter equipment. The BubbleBead filter’s simple valve operated backwash process makes maintenance very straightforward and for simplicity this operation can even be automated.
Estrosieve
Estrosieve is a unique and patented system which allows the water to flow through hundreds of razor sharp triangular blades which are mounted (depending on the model) with gaps of 50, 100, 150 and 200 micron (1 micron=0.001mm). The water runs against the sharp side of the blade where the surface tension of the water is broken. The dirt particle, whether sinking or floating is pushed away from the sieve due to the hydrostatic load created, this causes the solids to be lifted out of the water. The dirt from the water is then moved to the base of the sieve where there is no water running and can be removed easily. This system will work superbly in the place of vortexes and especially brush chambers.
Mechanical Filtration
The Solution is the new concept in mechanical filtration with full automatically cleaning. It involves the removal of solid particles from as small as 50 micron (0.05 mm) from water. An industrial grade "Cleft" sieve element is used. When the element becomes dirty or blocked the sieve will be automatically rinsed and the dirt will be drained to waste.
EstrOzone
The new family of EstrOzone Series 7000 generators has an optional redox potential sensor system that ensures the generator works only when required. This means that the water quality is monitored by means of its redox value. Only when this value is too low, the ozone generator will produce ozone to maintain a good water quality. A great advantage of the EstrOzone is that they work directly. In this way any sudden ammonia or nitrite concentration can be prevented and at the same time any algae build up in your pond will be stopped and harmful bacteria will be killed.
Estroclear Ozonreactors
The Estrad Ozonreactors ensure a very effective way in usage of the produced ozone by the ozone generator. To reach a maximum performance of the generator, you definitely need a good ozonereactor for an intensive mixture of the ozone with the water. This model is suitable for ponds of up to 13000 gallons and is suitable for a high pump capacity. All EstroClear protein skimmers are constructed from high quality materials and are perfectly suited for use in combination with the EstrOzone.
AquaBIO BaoBio
BaoBio is formulated using naturally occurring bacteria and food grade ingredients. The product has a positive effect on the water quality and the fish health of ornamental koi ponds. BoaBio is a prophylactic against ulcer disease caused by Pseudomonas and Aeromonas spp. which are common bacterial pathogens in re-circulated and filtered aquatic systems. BaoBio reduces pathogenic bacteria by competing for the same food source as pathogenic bacteria because the bacteria can consume the food source at a much faster rate.
Estrofeeder
EstroFeeders are available in diverse sizes and models varying from 2 to 4 lbs. (depending on the type of fish food used). For larger amounts of feed a large capacity container is available. The containers are fabricated out of high quality clear perspex so that the amount of feed remaining is clearly visible. Via the time clock it's possible to program many different feeding schedules. The EstroFeeder is the result of an innovative development giving an optimum result in the koi pond. The feeder is fabricated from high grade perspex which means that it's heat proof, water proof, crystal clear and it wont distort. Just one glance is sufficient to determine whether or not a refill is necessary. Because only top quality European parts are used in the mechanical section, they are guaranteed to give years of dependable service.
Koitoilet
The Koitoilet is the logical alternative for a floor drain or a vortex. Strictly speaking with a Koi toilet you use the pond as vortex, the biggest vortex there is. The Koitoilet is a catchment basin, which is built completely down in the pond, in the place where a floor drain is normally used. Completely differently than with a floor drain, the Koitoilet is not connected with the filter system, but separate with the sewer, over a 110 mm slide gate valve. In this way the entire accumulated dirt is exhausted directly.
