GEMÜ 548 is the new motorized angle seat globe and control valve from GEMÜ.

Whenever automated valves are required but no compressed air is available, the new GEMÜ SideStep® motorized actuator is the ideal solution for all industrial and sterile applications.

The angle seat globe valve is available in nominal sizes 25 – 80. The permissible operating pressure is 25 bar for DN 25-40, 20 bar for DN 50, 12 bar for DN 65 and 8 bar for DN 80. The control version of the valve is fitted with linear and equal-percentage (1:25) characteristic regulating cones as standard with special versions individually designed for process applications.

The motorized actuator is available as a basic version for "OPEN/CLOSE" operation and as a High End version with integrated positioner/process controller module (PID). Versions for 24 V/DC or 115/230V 50/60Hz power supply can be provided. The communication options are RS 232, Webinterface, Profibus DP, Bluetooth and AS-Interface. Operation takes place via a keypad and/or input signals. Actuating force, actuating speed and travel stops are adjustable in both directions. Automatic initialisation and end position programming ensure simple handling.   An optional integrated emergency power supply module enables the valve to automatically adopt a preselected safety position in case of power failure – the mechanical manual override is standard.
