Reverse Osmosis, Electrochemical Separations, Thermal/Evaporative Treatment and Control Equipments

Equipment from GE Water & Process Technologies ensures top performance from your treatment and production processes. GE systems perform reliably and cost-effectively to achieve your critical goals.

SPIRAL MEMBRANE / REVERSE OSMOSIS EQUIPMENT

Reverse osmosis (RO) is used to reduce dissolved solids from feed waters with salinities up to 45,000 ppm TDS (total dissolved solids). Municipalities and industrial facilities are able to use RO permeate as a consistently pure drinking water supply and to transform drinking water to high purity water for industrial use at microelectronics, food and beverage, power, and pharmaceutical facilities. The technology is also very effective at removing bacteria, pyrogens, and organic contaminants.

ED/EDR/EDI (ELECTROCHEMICAL SEPARATIONS)

Electrodialysis (ED) and Electrodialysis Reversal (EDR)

Electrodialysis (ED), is an electrochemical separation process in which ions are transferred through ion exchange membranes by means of direct current (DC) voltage. In the ED process, ions are removed from the feed water as the current drives the ions through the membranes to desalinate the process stream.

Electrodeionization (EDI)

Electrodeionization (EDI) is a mature electrically driven membrane demineralization process used to refine industrial process water to ultra-high purity for use in the power, microelectronics, food, chemical, pharmaceutical, and other industries. GE's EDI systems utilize high-capacity ion exchange membranes to remove not only residual salts but also ionizable aqueous species such as carbon dioxide, silica, ammonia and boron.

MF/UF/MBR

Many filtration technologies are both sustainable and energy efficient in removing suspended solids, turbidity, viruses, and pathogens from water. GE Water & Process Technologies understands your needs because we build, own, and operate our own treatment plants, including the largest ultrafiltration plants in the world.

THERMAL / EVAPORATIVE (ZLD)

GE Water & Process Technologies helps you save money, reduce your environmental footprint, and even achieve zero liquid discharge, with thermal/evaporative treatments for industrial wastewaters.

These technologies can help you recover high-purity water from a wide variety of waste streams for numerous in-plant uses. In some cases you can also capture valuable by-products and sell them to offset your costs - instead of sending them to the drain.

GE WATER PARTS PIPELINE

To keep your treatment system operating at peak efficiency, call the GE Water Parts Pipeline (GEWPP) for all of your replacement parts and supplies. From proprietary electrodialysis reversal (EDR) membranes to simple filter replacements, GEWPP has the technical expertise and distribution experience to get you the right part, with the urgency and knowledge you expect.

CHEMICAL FEED AND CONTROL EQUIPMENT

You need precise control to get the performance you expect from your water and process treatments. Chemical feed and process control systems from GE Water & Process Technologies help keep your treatments functioning at their best. You also get expert on-site service and support from the industry leader in water and process chemistry.
