Aqua M 40 D- Testrod to Pre-Locate Leakages
This noise measuring device has been developed by F.A.S.T GmbH. It features an extremely high sensitivity and is thus capable of detecting even minute leakages due to the combination of a high-sensitivity vibration pick-up and adapted amplification.
By selecting the appropriate frequency, both metal and non-metal pipes can be succesfully calibrated. The wireless data transmission feature considerably supports the operator.
Functioning
The Aqua M-40 is placed on the pipe or fitting to be checked and switched on. If the value shown on the LED display is not "0", the pipe / fitting is likely to be leaking. In such case, the headphones will be activated and the operator will check if the noise picked up is generated by an actual pipe fracture.
Aqua M 50 D- Testrod to Pre-Locate Leakages in Drinking-Water Supply Networks
The Aqua-M50D is applied in the water supply business to pre-locate (testrod) leakages. Due to its handy size, this measuring instrument is especially well suited to listen to water meters.
Illuminated Level Indication Display
Water meters are often installed in dark cellars. Therefore, the Aqua-M50D can also be supplied with a background illumination feature for the display.
Aqua M 70 D- Geophone/Testrod to Detect and Locate Leakages
The Aqua M70-D is applied in the water supply business to prelocate (testrod) and to calibrate leakages (geophone).
Testrod
The testrod has been developed by F.A.S.T GmbH and features an extremely high sensitivity. It has been designed to detect even minute leakages. The variable device is perfectly well suited to listen to water meters and to systematically check pipeline network sections.
Ground Pick-Up
The ground pick-up is capable of pinpointing leakages. The mounted tripod enables the operator to carry out measurements both on soft and on solid ground.
Central Unit
The filters are set according to the particular expected leakage borne noises. The integrated memory saves the measurement readings. With this feature, the operator can easily compare the detected noises with each other. This noticeably supports the exact leakage locating process.
Illuminated Level Indication Display
The light for the level indication display is switched on and off automatically depending on the lighting conditions on the spot.
Power Supply
If Operation of the Aqua M-70D is discontinued for more than one minute, the device will be switched of automatically. This Shut-down feature considerably prolongs the operating time of the geophone. Under normal conditions, the accumulators of the Aqua M-70D are operational for up to 10 weeks without being recharged. An LED display informs the operator about the condition of the rechargeable NiCD accumulators.
Aqua M 100 D- Geophone / Testrod to Detect and Locate Leakages
The Aqua-M100D is used in the water supply business to pre-locate (testrod) and to calibrate leakages (geophone). In combination with the Pulse Wave Generator (PWG), it can also be applied to trace the run of a pipeline.

Besides 6 different filter options, the operator can set the level indicator to minimum value, average value, and PWG level value. The integrated memory saves the measurement readings. With this feature, the operator can easily compare the acquired noises with each other. This noticeably supports the exact leakage locating process.
