Biography

Dr Gareth Harrison is a Lecturer in Energy Systems in the School of Engineering and Electronics at the University of Edinburgh, UK. He holds Bachelors and PhD degrees from the same Institution. His research interests include: assessment of the impact of climate change on hydropower, marine energy and electricity demand; integration of renewable energy within distribution networks; and energy policy and economics. Consulting activity includes clients from the water and electricity industries. Dr Harrison is a member of the Institution of Electrical Engineers and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
