Biography

Dr. Rachel Einav was born in Israel. Her master thesis was on coastal plants and her PhD was on marine macro algae. Her book “Seaweeds of the East Mediterranean Coast" containing underwater photographs is about to be published. The company she established, "Blue Ecosystems" deals with environment consulting and on influence of marine installations on the environment. Together with "Tahal" Einav prepared the EIA for the coastal stations and the Marine Pipeline. Lastly she was much engaged in the environmental aspects of Desalinization Plants.
