About Us

BKG Wassertechnik has been involved in water treatment for the last 40 years. We project, build and maintain water treatment plants. the product program can be used for a lot of  applications  like catering,  car wash, breweries, car production, steel industry, cosmetics, optical, electronic and  pharmaceutical industry  for  process  water  treatment, cooling tower and boiler feed, drinking water and many other applications.

We plan and build, individually constructed plants for -

• Drinking water treatment with Ultra Filtration for commercial, industrial, municipal, for removing of turbidity- suspended matter, shoots, viruses and bacteria. 
• Filter Plants for iron removal, manganese removal, de chlorination, turbidity- suspended matter removal, as single, duplex triplex multi- plants with microprocessor and PLC controls max. 150 m 3/h.
• Softening Plants as single, duplex - triplex – multi- plants with microprocessor and PLC controls, max. 200 m3/h 
• Partial-fully demineralization - plants as single, duplex - triplex – multi-plants with microprocessor and PLC controls max. 50 m 3/h. 
• Manually operated and automatically mix bed demineralization – plants, max. 50 m3/h 
• Galvanic- circulation plants, filtration ion exchange. 
• Neutralization plants for partial - demineralization plants 
• Reverse osmosis plants for demineralization of drinking

Reverse Osmosis Plants for Brackish Water, Sea Water Reverse Osmosis Plants

Reverse Osmosis is an excellent system for the desalination of brackish and sea water with low investment and running costs. Our company offers both systems for brackish and sea water desalination plants: Skid and or container mounted plants. Our production range varies from 50 m3/d up to 500 m3/d (13210 gpd - 132100 gpd) as container plants and skit mounted plants up to 1200 m3/d ( 317000 gpd). Off course several plants can run in parallel for higher need of water. Our systems are complete with pre and post treatment. We always try to find the best solution for each customer and his individual wishes and requirements.

Pre – treatment for RO plants

Our calculations are based on 3 years running time. Life time of RO elements can be much longer by well designed Pre – treatment. Therefore BKG applies proper filtration systems with low speed, disinfection before conducting the water to the RO plant to avoid membrane fouling because of Scaling, Colloids, Suspended and dissolved organics and Biological matters.

Dosing Systems

For RO plants we equip our dosing systems with: low level switches, pre alarm for refilling dosing tank flow controller, if chemicals are not metered plants are stopping automatically. Dosing systems are used for metering of: Flocculation, Chlorine, Antiscaling, Destroying free Chlorine, Disinfection, pH Adjustment

Filtration

To protect the membranes from suspended matters we are offering Multi Media and Activated Carbon filters with low speed. The backwash of the systems is differential pressure controlled. The valves are single compressed air commanded diaphragm or butterfly valves with or without position indicator switches. 5 micron cartridge filters are made from reinforced PP, with high quality Puro melt cartridges with dual filtration rates for long cartridges life, 20 – 5 micron.

Racks with membrane vessels

Our racks are made from SS and colourless painting against highest corrosion protection.

Piping

Low pressure piping is PVC or PP and high pressure piping 316 L for brackish water and 1.4539 or duplex SS for seawater plants. Membrane vessels from high corrosion resistant GRP with PP liner for high UV protection of membranes. PP liner is highly chemicals resistant for chemical membrane cleaning.

Pumps for high pressure

• Smaller plants up to 100 m3/d with piston pumps
• Medium plants with Grundfos BMET with and without energy recovery systems
• Larger sizes with duplex SS with energy recovery systems

Membranes

Membranes are from well known manufactures like DOW and Torray up to 84 bar (1200 psi) working pressure for highest salt contents.

PLC control and instrumentation

For the controlling of brackish and sea water plants we are using PLC controller and we offer all necessary measurement equipment to run a plant save, such as: pH, conductivity, free chlorine, turbidity, flow, temperature and pressure control with transmitters with 4-20 mA signals. The switch board panels can be equipped as well with modems for transmitting of disturbing or requested maintenance signals, such as cartridge changing, refilling dosing tanks to Mobil or normal phone.

Permeate pump stations

Permeate pumps station can be single pump, duplex or multi pump station with or without frequency control.

Membrane permeate and cleaning stations

For smaller plants we offer a duplex system which can be used for permeate flushing of the complete system to protect plant against corrosion and scaling. Same system can be used as well for chemical cleaning of the membranes. For larger systems we are offering single membrane cleaning system with pump, temperature control, flow control, fine filter.

Process Operation

Operation of PLC controlled RO plants is easy, because the plants are self controlled. All eventual disturbing will be indicated on the OP (operation panel) or on the touch screen. The service operator should carefully follow the maintenance and service instruction for a longer membrane life. For this reason we offer qualified training to the service operators.

Measurement Instruments

Storage Tanks

Storage tanks for chemicals, raw water, pure wasser, as weldless sintered round tanks till  20,000 Litres, square tanks till  2000 Litres, as round tanks from FRP till 80 000  Litres. With level control.

Pump Stations

Pressure Raise Stations DE 01-4, DED 1-4

DE1-4 consisting of: 1  normal sucking horizontal, one-level or multistage centrifugal pump from SS 1.4301, built on a membrane vessel with SS flange, pressure switch, cheque valve, pressure gauge  from SS, 1,5 m connection cable,

DED 1-4 alternating running Pump Stations with 2 normal sucking multistage SS pumps, built on a SS frame, 4 ball valves, 2 cheque valves, PVC  piping, electronically  switch box, completely installed and wired.

Dosing Pumps

Magnet membrane driven dosing pumps from 1 l/h till 60 l/h. Chemical resistant Plastic housing, membranes from full teflon, microprocessor controlled, PH-Value, Redox value, proportional, digital, analog, with and without display, stroke adjustment, dosing heads from PP, PVDF, SS, PMMA.

For Dosing of Chemicals: Dosing stations with hand mixer, electrical mixer.

Dosing Pump F as analog pump for wall mounting, Types FACL for parallel wiring, FAPV quantity proportional for contact water meter, with display as FEN with week timer  and 8 Einschaltmöglichkeiten per day, FPH for PH value regulation, FRH for Redox Value regulation, Frequency regulation, or Program control, from 1l/h against 10 bar till 5 l/h against 5 bar.

Dosing Pump Row H as analog pump for container or bracket mounting, Types HCL for parallel Wiring, HPV quantity proportional for contact water meter, with display as HEN with week timer  and 8 times dosing per day, HPH for PH Value regulation, HRH for Redox value regulation, stroke adjustment, frequency regulation, or program control, from 1l/h against 18 bar till 8 l/h against 4 bar.

Dosing Pump Row C as analog  pump for container or bracket mounting, Types CCL for parallel wiring, CPV quantity proportional for contact water meter, with display as  CPH for PH value regulation, CRH for Redox value regulation, stroke adjustment, frequency regulation, or program control, from 4l/h against 18 bar till 60 l/h against 2 bar.

Dosing stations with the Pump Row H and C with dosing container from 60 l till 1000 l, with hand mixer or electrical mixer.

Measurement Instrument

Measurement and regulation technology, microprocessor controlled wall and switch board  instruments  for PH-Value, Redox Value, free chlorine, conductivity, turbidity-,  combination instruments for PH  -Redox-  Value - free chlorine for public pools and probes

UV Units

For disinfection and sterilization of clear, colourless, iron and manganese free water, consisting of: housing made out of stainless steel, autoprotective tube made out of quartz, UV-Radiator, operating mechanism, automatically passage interruption, drain valve, UVN 28 with selective UV-Control for use in the drinking industry.
