Level Monitors:-
Arjay manufactures a complete line of level monitors and controls for both liquid and solid applications. These employ a unique Radio Frequency Capacitance circuitry to maximize accuracy and minimize maintenance.
- Level-Ease 2000 Level Monitor
The Level-Ease 2000 sensing probe monitors the capacitance field between the probe and its concentric shield or the tank wall. The probe capacitance changes as the level of product increases. This level signal is used to provide outputs, displays, and relay control.
Oil in Water Monitors:-
Oil in Water refers to products measuring the concentration (in ppm or %) of oil dissolved or emulsified oil in water. Oil on Water refers to products monitoring separated oil on the water surface.
- HydroSense 2410 On-Line ppm Monitor
The HydroSense 2410 continuously monitors the water sample flowing through it for ppm concentrations of hydrocarbons. The display, signal output, and alarm can be configured within the 0-1000 ppm range.
Liquid Spill and Leak Alarms:-
Leaks from above or underground storage tanks can be costly, dangerous to worker health, and environmentally unsafe. Arjay provides sensors to monitor for leaks and spills. Probe variations can extend these applications to meet your specific needs.
- 9830-LPS - Leak Pad Sensor
The Leak Pad Sensor can be placed on containment floors and pans to alert on a dry vs. wet condition. These can be placed around a tank, in electrical and computer vaults, and in pump stations. The 9830-LPS sensor monitors the capacitance field between the sensor pad and the floor. Through a single push button calibration the controller locks in on the capacitance field of all sensing pads. Any liquid that intrudes into the pad space will increase the capacitive field and initiate an alarm.
- 9830-ILA Interstitial Leak Alarm
The 9830-ILA probe monitors the interstitial space at the bottom of the tank and locks in on the capacitance field around the probe tip. Any liquid that intrudes into this space will increase the capacitive field and initiate an alarm. The leak source can be from the stored product leaking from the tank or from groundwater leaking through the outer wall.
Dry Run Monitors:-
Combining the technology of capacitance with unique sensor designs provide non-intrusive monitors for liquid and bulk solids handling systems. The result is a low cost and low maintenance system to determine the presence or absence of product in a pipe, chute, or other vessel.
- 9830-DPM In-Pipe Detector
The 9830-DPM sensor monitors a cross sectional area of the pipe and locks in on the capacitance field of the fluid passing through. A change toward a dry condition or a liquid of a different dielectric will upset the capacitive field and initiate an alarm. The sensing plates are embedded into a wafer flange which provides monitoring without any intrusion into the stream flow.
Plugged Chute Detectors:-
Plugged Chute Detectors monitor a chute or vessel using a sensor mounted flush with the chute wall. The sensor indicates a normal passage of product. When the product compacts due to a plugged condition, the monitor activates a relay to turn off equipment and alert operators.
- 9830-PCD Plugged Chute Detector
The 9830-PCD sensor monitors the capacitance field in front of the sensor plate. The sensing plate forms part of the chute or hopper wall to sense the product within. The increased presence of product in front of the sensor due to a plugging condition increases the capacitance field and initiates an alarm. The sensing plates are embedded into a polyethylene plate which provides monitoring without any intrusion into the product flow.
Open Channel Flow Monitors
Using a capacitance level technology in conjunction with a primary flow device, the Open Channel Flow monitor provides continuous on-line monitoring. Features include flow rate indication, flow totalization, high flow and level alarms, and a pulsed totalization alarm.
- 2114-OCF Open Channel Flow Monitor
The 2114-OCF sensing probe monitors the capacitance field between the probe and it’s concentric shield. The probe capacitance changes as the level of water increases in the stream. This level is proportional to flow based on the Manning equations for flumes and weirs.
