Construction of the new waste water treatment plant at Harnaschpolder, with a capacity of 35.8 million litres per hour, under DBFO (design-build-finance-operate) contract is our present project. This plant will start up at partial capacity on 1 June 2007, and then build up to full-capacity operation by 1 November 2008.

Water Treatment Chemicals are an essential part of the Water Solutions offer, because they guarantee the reliability of the equipment, the process and are one of the significant service elements.
Applications
- The water pH is sometimes adjusted to meet the operating specifications required by certain membranes or ion exchange resins. This is accomplished by adding caustic soda to raise the pH, or acid to reduce the pH.
- Dispersants or scale inhibitors are sometimes added to prevent scaling caused by a concentration of specific ions in the water.
- Oxidizing agents are used to prevent microbial growth.
- Sequestering agents help prevent minerals such as calcium and magnesium from depositing on the surface of water systems, system piping and tanks.
- Reducing agents, such as sodium sulphites, are added to neutralize oxidizing agents like ozone or chlorine, or to remove oxygen.
