Water
Regardless of whether it’s a question of drinking water, waste water, sea water or process water: the butterfly valves of the series DESPONIA, ELARA and AQUARIA have been used successfully for many years. Companies active worldwide in the water sector such as Degrémont, Veolia, Hyflux etc. value the high quality of our quarter turn valves and their reliable mode of operation.
One of our core competences is the development and manufacture of butterfly valves from DN 600-1600 mm. Thanks to a modular system in the production phase, we are in a position to guarantee the specifications made by our customers.
The actuators and control components, which are optimally attuned to the valves, guarantee reliable and, at the same time, economic operation.
Our Aquaria, Desponia and Elara butterfly valve ranges have been developed and improved over the years for application in areas such as drinking water, waste water treatment and in desalination plants. Part of our core competence is the production of butterfly valves between 600mm and 1400mm. Due to our modular system of production, we are able to tailor our valves to suit your operating conditions. We complement our valves with an extensive range of actuators and control modules to give a reliable and economical solution.
Chemical Processes
Why do InterApp quarter turn valves and actuators enjoy the most absolute levels of trust? The answer to this question is simple: because InterApp quarter-turn valves and actuators are precisely tailored to fit the requirements of our sophisticated customers in this segment.
Butterfly valves in the BIANCA series, for example, are not only manufactured with the conventional PTFE liners. For special requirements such as increased diffusion resistance, better surface condition, resistance to abrasion or longer periods of use thanks to lower cold flow, we recommend the use of ULTRAFLON, a higher-grade fluoroplastic in comparison to PTFE.
Life without InterApp quarter turn valves, whether the ELARA, DESPONIA plus butterfly valve or our ball valves, is no longer imaginable with regard to chemical processes, since they offer the highest degree of safety.
In the chemical industries, where nothing can be left to chance, our quarter turn valves can be used with complete confidence. In addition to our standard PTFE liners, we offer Ultraflon liners where reliability is of the utmost concern. Ultraflon possesses enhanced characteristics, such as lower permeability, better abrasion resistance and lower cold flow than PTFE. Elara double eccentric butterfly valves are designed for high temperature or high pressure applications, and can be supplied in either PTFE or metal seated versions. Quarter turn valves from InterApp should always be taken into consideration for chemical process applications.
Mining Industry
In the control of highly-corrosive media, for example in the extraction of metals from ores or in other chemical processes, safety for people and for the environment is our priority.
The answer to the safe valve question is called BIANCA. This type series is available up to a nominal width of 900 mm.
Where other valves reach the limits of their capacity and resistance, the application range of BIANCA begins. Thanks to some construction advantages and a disc coated homogenously with PFA, BIANCA has virtually no limits as regards resistance.
An ATEX-compliant design for use in explosion danger zones completes the program.
Thanks to the high reliability of BIANCA, losses of production have been reduced, the capacity and utilization of plants increased, and in this way costs lowered. An investment with a good return!
The Bianca valve, in sizes up to 900mm diameter, can often be the answer to the demanding situation posed by the combination of strong acid and organic mixtures found in solvent extraction plants. Where Halar coating has reached its limit in terms of resistance, Bianca butterfly valves with PTFE liners and PFA coated discs may be used. To cater for potentially explosive areas, we offer a solution with our range of ATEX compliant valves. Since our Bianca butterfly valves are so reliable, you will experience benefits in terms of reduced production losses, increased production and reduced operating costs.
