Regular servicing of equipment extends its working life and so we provide a comprehensive calibration, maintenance and repair service for a wide range of our products, including correlators, noise loggers, ground microphones, electronic listening sticks and step-testing systems.
Training
At HWM we recognise that, in addition to great products, the skill of the operator is also vital to achieve the best possible results. Consequently, we are determined to make our expertise directly available to our customers. We have trained over 2,000 leakage technicians throughout the world and our client list includes every water company in the UK (and many more worldwide), leakage survey contractors, industrial companies, civil engineering contractors and many others.
We provide training in all aspects of water management including a basic introduction to leak detection, datalogging, pressure control, noise correlation, step testing, permanently installed leak monitoring systems, rapid area leak surveys and flowmeters. We can also tailor courses to your own specific requirements.
We have a fully equipped purpose built training facility in the UK which includes a leak test site on which delegates can work in supervised, realistic conditions. Removed from the distractions of the workplace, we provide a unique opportunity for customers to improve their “hands on” skills whist leaning how to manage their water resources even more effectively. The result is improved efficiency, greater confidence and cost savings.
Hire
We now offer our full range of equipment for hire as well as purchase. This service could suit a water contractor or water company that has ample equipment for the best part of the year, but may need some extra hardware to get through the winter months when frozen pipes cause bursts. Or you may like to try before you buy. The products, from acoustic ground microphones to sophisticated leak noise correlators, are available on a rental basis to meet short-term contracting requirements.
