Biography

Jorge Loredo is Profesor Titular of the University of Oviedo, in northern Spain. Mr. Loredo is Mining Engineer by Oviedo University and Mining Geologist by Paris School of Mines. He has more than 20 years of experience with environmental issues and has provided assistance to companies in the mining and environmental industries. He has participated in European projects devoted to water and environment, in some of them he has been coordinator. Mr. Loredo has been Visiting Researcher in the University of California at Berkeley, and Visiting Professor in the Universities of Piura (Perou), La Rioja (Argentina) and San Juan (Argentina).
