We handle drinking water treatment and wastewater applications like primary, secondary, wastewater reuse, and stormwater management for municipalities around the country.

Biology

Ever-changing discharge requirements and advancements in microbiology have led to the increased popularity of high rate biological treatment systems. Degremont Technologies understands the careful planning needed to design and construct this portion of the plant. We offer a number of biological systems for municipal and industrial applications.

Separation

Our wide range of separation technologies means we can select the most appropriate clarifier or filter system for any given application. Our technologies include the most advanced clarifiers offered on the market. We sell systems for the removal of particulates, small colloidal materials, solids precipitated as a result of chemical treatment, and polishing.

Industries, also benefit from our diverse solutions, including physical-chemical treatment, packed-bed demineralization, ion exchange, reverse osmosis, and aerobic/anaerobic biological systems.

Membrane

The Ultrafiltration membranes bring today new solutions to the water specialists, according to the case of application. Indeed, the membranes allow reducing the die in term of stages and permit to make reliable the treatment in term of quality but especially to improve the effectiveness.

Degrémont Technologies-Aquasource, a French major and historic figure in Ultrafiltration, offers its products and services to builders and water treatment distributors in both municipal and industrial spheres.

Disinfection: UV

Ultraviolet (UV) disinfection is environmentally safe and recognized as effective for a wide range of pathogens, including viruses. For more than 20 years, the AQUARAY® UV disinfection systems have offered proven disinfection alternatives to protect the environment from toxic byproducts formed when hazardous chemicals, like chlorine, combine with organic compounds in receiving waters.

Degrémont Technologies-Ozonia has developed UV products for three different markets: Municipal Wastewater, Municipal Drinking Water, and Industry.

Disinfection: Ozone

Ozone was first used by municipalities to improve the organic qualities of water with control of taste, odor and color as well as for its germicidal action. Application of ozone in waste water treatment includes the destruction or removal of: complex organic molecules, cyanides and phenols from chemical waste, etc. In addition, subjecting municipal waste waters or combined municipal waste waters or combined municipal industrial waste waters to a final ozone process enables reuse for applications such as wash-water, irrigation, or fire fighting systems.

Ozone is also used extensively in industry in oxidation processes and for disinfection purposes. Typical industrial examples are in the P&P industry for pulp bleaching, chemical industry where ozonolysis is necessary for the production of certain substances, and in cooling-tower systems where ozone replaces the less desirable chemical biocides.
